My husband and I are planning our first cruise in May to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We will be departing from Seattle and taking the 7 day inside passage tour to Alaska. I have narrowed it down to Norwegian, Princess, and Holland America because they are the online lines to travel to Glacier Bay. Does anyone have any experience with these lines and can possibly recommend one over the others?
This summer i want to visit alaska. maybe even next winter.. not sure. But, how much are plane tickets? From chicago to Fairbanks. Also, how much is lodging, food, etc? and, how much are the plane tours? that would be cool.. thanks so much.
So about how much would it be to stay for a week or so? thanks!
5 day in Alaska, 7 day total I guess with traveling by plane for a day each way?
No cruise unless it doesn’t involve a passport. No Canada involved please! A lodge somewhere nice, and a place to see wild bears?
Ideas perhaps?
Whats the place like??? Hows the service???
I am planning a trip for about 40 people to Alaska and would like an all inclusive lodge but I don’t know where the best place to stay would be. We do not want to stay in the city. Thank you for your answers!
Getting married in April of 09 and we would like to go for an all inclusive adventure honeymoon. We are both avid in the outdoors. Alaska is the only place in the US that we haven’t been.
I had the hardest time finding a Lodge in Alaska when I went there on vacation that would allow me to design my own vacation itenary, instead of being tied to the guides they require and all the activities they dictate. I am very happy with the Salmon Catcher Lodge, which allowed me to design my own activities.
Just stumbed across this token, very little info online. The coin itself has an address of box 102299 Anchorage, AK and the words "keep the gold," are on the bottom, which seemed like a promising statement. If you have one of these or know a little more about it I would love to know!
