Bettles Lodge, Bettles, Alaska refusing to pay their employees. Any advice?
I worked for Bettles Lodge for two weeks this winter and was wrongfully terminated and blatantly discriminated agains…But that is a whole other story. My issue now is that they refuse to pay me for the time worked. I sense that they are going broke, but they have not filed bankruptcy. They seem to think that they can get away with this. I have just filed suit with the State of Alaska, and I have a claim submitted to the Alaska Labor Board and one pending with the EEOC. I feel like I have to go through so much grief to simply get my wage I am wondering if when these charges run their course if I can sue them for punitive damages?

Sounds like you’ve already done everything you can.
